Holy Childhood

Holy Childhood, commonly known as Thirubala Sakhyam in Malayalam, is an association for children who have not yet received their First Holy Communion. It includes all Catechism students from Nursery up to Grade 4. This organization is committed to fostering spiritual development and instilling Christian values and wisdom in young children, helping them grow into precious individuals for their families, the Church, society, and God. As children grow and receive the Solemn Holy Communion, they are encouraged to transition to Cherupushpa Mission League (CML) where they can continue their faith journey.

Origin:- Holy Childhood was established in 1843 by Bishop Charles de Forbin-Janson in France. The association is known by Mission Together in certain areas of the world. It encourages children worldwide to pray and share, while also supporting both spiritual and physical well-being of the children. 

Mission:- To nurture the faith and missionary spirit in children, preparing them for a lifelong journey of faith and service. 

Vision:- A spirit-filled community evangelizing its neighbours by involving children in the Church’s missionary work.

Aim :- 

• Encourage children to share their faith with other children through prayers, personal sacrifices, financial and material offerings.

• Bring children together in prayer and for other activities on selected Sundays.
