Here, faith isn't confined to quiet reflection; it's a living force that drives action. Our members light up the altar with heartfelt devotion, but they also light up the community with their tireless work. Whether we're organizing engaging events or launching impactful initiatives, our goal is to be a beacon of hope, a testament to faith, and a catalyst for transformation. We believe that by nurturing our own spiritual growth, we can better serve and uplift those around us, creating a stronger, more connected community for everyone.

This isn't just a motto for us at Santhome Youth; it's the heartbeat of everything we do. It's the simple idea that the future isn't something we just wait for—it's something we build, one young person at a time.

Our Mission in Action

We're on a mission to bring this motto to life every single day. With this mission as our guide, we work to:

• Nurture faith in the young minds because we believe a strong spiritual foundation is essential. We do this by coming together for prayer and actively participating in the liturgy. 

• Serve the community with love and compassion. This means reaching out to those in need, offering a helping hand, and making sure our actions reflect our faith. 

• Empower youth by providing opportunities for education, leadership, and personal growth. We want to equip young people with the skills and confidence they need to succeed.

We're dedicated to creating a community where young people are spiritually strong, socially responsible, and culturally rich. We want to see them grow into leaders who act with integrity and compassion, ready to make a positive impact in every aspect of their lives.

A sneak peek into our activities

Spiritual Growth

We deepen our faith through shared experiences. The “Way of the Cross” and Easter Celebrations led by Santhome Youth brings a new energy to sacred traditions. While Youth Masses and Adorations gives us a chance to lead and connect in Faith, we also come together for month-long Salve Regina devotion, collectively praying 1 lakh Hail Marys to strengthen our spiritual community.

Serving Our Community

Compassion was at the heart of our social outreach. Through the Caring Basket Initiative, we provide food to those in need. The Contribution Run and Donation Drives that we organize enable us to send aid to victims of natural calamities across the country. and we spread warmth during the colder months with our Blanket Distribution drive.

Empowering Our Youth

We believe in equipping our members for the future. Our SMYLE (Santhome Mandya Youth Learning & Empowerment) program offers career guidance with expert-led panels and workshops. We're always looking to hone practical skills for digital upskilling, and our Canva Design Workshop is a great example of that.

Building Community

Our events bring us closer together. We welcome new members with our IMBARCO induction ceremony.  We are always ready to celebrate our rich cultural heritage in the most vibrant, youthful ways. We showed this by dancing a flash mob during Onam, leading the Christmas Carnival, and honoring our Vicar’s Silver Jubilee with a special Feast Cultural Day.

Sports Achievements

Our teams continue to showcase their skills and dedication on the field. We were crowned Throwball Champions at Yo.Sports 3.0. Our football team had a stellar season, winning the Santhome Cup and the Claros Cup, and finishing as runners-up in the Alpho Cup. A special shout-out to Jose Dominic, our Sports Coordinator, whose vision and mentorship has been a key to our success
